Against Animal Testing in the cosmetic industry

I was tasked with creating a design that was subversive in nature and was something we were passionate about.

Therefore, I chose to create something that flipped the narrative, and criticized the beauty industry and the continued testing on animals.

The target audience are females from the ages 12- 35 who consistency shop for makeup, skincare, and other beauty goods. The goal was to bring awareness of the subject and lead people to make more informed choices.

Process

Overall, the process was streamlined as the timeline of this project was limited. However, I started by looking for inspiration in my life and what I was passionate about. After I decided, I then moved on to thinking of the concept. From there I decided I wanted to flip the person and animal being tested on. I found the image with the woman in the middle and moved froward from there. Finally, I was able to use software such as Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop to complete the project.
